The Office of Communications and Marketing at Tufts University provides a wide range of strategic communications services through three primary groups:
Content: Tells the Tufts story using all available communications and marketing channels, including websites, social media, and print, and using all available media, including video and photography. The team produces the university’s news site Tufts Now, as well as two publications: the university's flagship Tufts Magazine and One Tufts, a publication for Tufts donors and friends. The team manages the university’s main social media channels, the university’s events calendar, the Tufts homepage and upper-level pages, and the weekly Tufts Announcements email.
Media Relations: Keeps the university’s profile high, positive and in support of the Tufts brand across all external news media. The team also provides issues and crisis management and helps develop special communications plans.
Marketing and Branding: Oversees the university's brand and visual identity. Develops marketing strategies and campaigns to support advancement and enrollment priorities across schools. The team also supports creative and digital projects from university websites to email outreach to print collateral.
