KITV Island Television is the ABC Affiliate in Honolulu, Hawaii.  KITV4 Island News is committed to covering all of the islands and continues to build a team of dedicated and passionate journalists to tell the best stories and educate the viewers with information they can use.   With a long legacy in the market,  KITV4 is propelled by the drive for excellence and has been recognized for its work; most recently EMMY nominated for Station Excellence and a regional Murrow for Breaking News. 

KITV4 airs 5 hours of news a day and are in the midst of a major programming expansion.  With the pending purchase of a second local station, KITV4 expects to double its news presence in the next few months.  

KITV4 is own by Allen Media Broadcasting, a growing media company with a portfolio of  more than 20  TV stations, a production company Entertainment Studios, and cable channels including The Weather Channel.
