KRBD is a nonprofit community radio station located in Ketchikan, Alaska, a community of about 13,000 in Alaska's Inside Passage. Our listening area comprises numerous island communities, and we reach a diverse audience. We offer local news, and subscribe to state, national and international public radio news and entertainment programs. We also feature volunteer DJs who share a wide variety of music with our audience. Local news is a large part of our mission, and much of our resources are dedicated to covering the news and getting it out to the public through the airwaves and the internet.
