Responsible for creating lifestyle content focusing on fashion, beauty, timepieces and accessories. This position is part of a team of editors who write, research, edit, monitor, curate, produce and publish multimedia editorial content. The range of content formats includes stories, visuals, videos and podcasts.
The role requires a passion for a creative, engaging approach to Lifestyle content while maintaining uncompromising editorial excellence. This is a team that is equal parts intelligent, fun-loving and determined. A sense of adventure is required.
Bachelors in Mass Communication or a related field is required.
A minimum of 8 years experience in style-related editorial positions. Prior experience as an Editor is preferred.
Experience with creating content in more than one format – including text, visual and audio – is mandatory.
Experience producing and presenting video content is a bonus.
Excellent writing, organisation skills.
A passion for a wide range of Lifestyle topics including travel, dining, style, home, tech, auto, luxury, culture and what’s trending.
Proven editorial judgment and ability to work quickly within intense deadlines.
Ability to multitask and handle several projects simultaneously.
Proven track record of developing powerful, effective and creative content strategies.
Experience with analytics tools (Omniture, Google Analytics, Chartbeat, etc).
A knack for monitor and analysing social media for trends and producing content accordingly.
Instinct for storytelling and thinking creatively.
Positive attitude and a sense of humour. Must work well with others.
